From Tales of the Teen Titans #50 (February 1985) and Justice League of America #0 (September 2006)
Original and an update.
Both are nice. I like that the artists didn’t update the ridiculous 80s clothes. I think I like the original better, though.
Kory and Dick at Donna’s wedding. look at that dress!
From Secret Origins #50 (August 1990)
“‘I understand,’ the bat man said. Dick knew he did.”
From Batman and the Outsiders #5 (December 1983)
It ends on a high note.
*I must admit I was a tad annoyed, though. Batman kind of sucks at leading in this arc, yet he still gets tons of credit at the end. Oh well.
Glorious thighs in teen titans - [2/?] - Dick Grayson / Robin
I ship them so hard!
Another George Perez Convention commission of the Teen Wonder that he’s posted on Facebook.
(I’d like to think my one is set some time after this one… after some suitably athletic and fabulous looking roughhousing)
Every time I think I can’t love George Perez’ take on Dick Grayson any more, I see new work he’s done and fall for it all over again.
George posted the story behind it on his Facebook, but since I know not everyone likes linking directly to there here’s the text…
Yesterday, Carol and I were treated to Crosby, Stills and Nash concert at the Hard Rock Cafe by a dear young friend (and comics fan) Eugene Schnee. Eugen is also a big fan of Dick Grayson, both as Robin and Nightwing. He had asked if I could do a little sketch of the character. This is the piece I gave him as we met him at the Hard Rock. The big smile on his face was especially gratifying! A reaction like that is just one of the many reasons being a comic book artist is so much fun!
Whoever Eugen is, I envy him like CRAZY!
I wanted to add this to that photoset I just reblogged, but I didn’t want to mess it up. Anyway, this is the first panel I think of when I hear “Robin bondage”. From New Teen Titans v1 #22.
- New Teen Titans 38
This is entirely out of context, but I couldn’t resist.
