So I tried to rebuild the family I had lost in my time away and rededicate ourselves to keeping Gotham safe from all the monsters who wanted to see her burn.

"Wow! And I thought Harry did it. Man, Dick is good. He’s the best!”
Timmy, your hero worship is going to make that hair gel melt.
UGH this story gives me so many feels — look how impressed Dick looks with this kid. His interest is piqued. And he’s still smooth enough to tell off the real culprits.

"He’s a better Robin than I ever was."
Oh Dick. I don’t doubt that Dick thinks this because he is a big fan of and quality older brother to Tim. It’s just also a bit sad because it reeks of self denigration (especially in reference to the previous post, in which Dick laments how he’s inferior to Bruce).
"Who’s the best Robin?" is also one of life’s loaded and impossible-to-answer questions. It’s the comic-book equivalent of talking about politics and religion, while simultaneously asking "does this cape make my butt look fat." Just don’t do it ; )
